How to Organize a Flyer Promoting Your Website

An eyecatching, informative flyer is one of the most cost efficient ways to advertise your website. Microsoft Publisher can help you create quality, professional flyers with the greatest of ease. In the header section of your flyer, place your business name. Under your business name, place your slogan. Your slogan should tell your potential customer what benefit he/she will gain in doing business with you.

Under your slogan you would insert a nice size image of your products or service your company provides. Under your images, outline other products you offer or you could use this section to give more information about your services. Next, you would create a section on the flyer that advertises why they should do business with you and dollar amounts expected for your products/service.

At the bottom of the flyer, include a brief bio on your company and a brief final thought on how you can serve their needs best. Lastly, list your company's email address and your web address.

When choosing the format of your flyer, choose the flyer with removable tabs than can be torn off. In these "tabs" you would fill in your website address. I have had the most success with "tab" flyers! Your website info can be distributed to more people this way. Find local bulletin boards at grocery stores, laundromats, and other various stores.

If you decide to create a regular flyer without tabs, consider where you would hand them out with the most foot traffic. I don't recommend placing flyers underneath peoples' windshield wipers. I get irritated when I get to my car, after an hour of shopping, and find a flyer under my windshield wipers. I look at the flyer briefly and ten times out of ten I ball it up and trash it. I find that I'm much more receptive if someone offers to hand me a flyer.

Another effective flyer are the kind you can hang on a door knob. I've purchased products from this type of flyer. If you're just starting out on a tight budget, have your flyers printed in black and white. This is a way to "get your feet wet" without being cost prohibitive. Should you notice people being receptive to you and your flyer, your next run of flyers you could consider using color. Hand out your flyers with a smile and ask people to tell their friends.

Free Traffic - Some Methods To Gain Fast Traffic

As you probably already know, traffic is the lifeblood of your online business. There are many different ways of driving traffic. Some better than others. Here is a list of some really good ones.

Search Engine Traffic - This is probably the cream of the crop of free traffic but also the most difficult to obtain. This basically means ranking your website on the first few pages of Google for your keyword. Once there you will see some amazing traffic.

Yahoo Answers - This involves answering questions people ask on a certain topic. It is very easy to gain traffic with this method, but a bit of time needs to be spent levelling up your account in order to be able to post links in your answers.

Forum Signature - This is an excellent form of targeted traffic. Basically you join and participate in a forum relating to your niche. With every post you make, your signature goes in with it, promoting the website of your choice. People read your signature and click through to your website.

Article Marketing - This is a great source of traffic. Basically you write articles related to your niche and post them on sites like EzineArticles. When people read your article they quite often click through to your website using the resource box on the bottom of your article.

Document Sharing Sites - This is another great source of targeted traffic when done correctly. Take some of your articles and turn them into a quick pdf and then upload them to sites like docstoc, Yudu, Scribd. If you do not know how to do this it is very simple. Simply copy your article into an open office document and then save as a pdf.

How To Guides - This can result in an amazing amount of traffic. Basically you write a free eBook on how to do something relating to your niche. You then upload your how to guides to places like instructables. This site has an awesome page rank so get your keyword research right and you will see a flood of traffic to your sites.

YouTube Videos - Making videos and uploading them to YouTube would have to be one of the best forms of traffic there is. Just record a short video related to your niche, and attach a link to your website in the description. This will drive an enormous amount of traffic to your website.

Twitter And Facebook - Over 700 million users can't be wrong. Spend some time gaining fans and followers on both of these sites and you will surely be laughing all the way to the bank. Squidoo And HubPages - These are basically free website building programs. Take the time to set up some hubs and lenses and this will just grow your traffic even further.

So there you have it. With that list of traffic sources you should be set to gain an avalanche of traffic to any site you are promoting.

Benefits Of Using Mobile Marketing

Marketing is one of the most important strategies that businesses need to implement in their plans in order to increase the sale of their products and services.

Businesses from all over the world are now using mobile marketing in order to reach out to most of their customers easily and effectively.

An effective marketing plan can succeed in helping businesses to increase their sales within a short period of time.

One of the advantages of using mobile marketing is the affordability of this channel of marketing. Mobile marketing is cheaper compared to other marketing channels such as advertising on the websites and media services. So this channel enables business to save some money that can be used to improve the product or expand the channels of product delivery in order to meet the taste and preferences of the customers.

By using mobile marketing, businesses are able to reach all their customers effectively no matter where they are located. Most of the people go around with their mobile phones hence marketers can be able to pass information to them conveniently. This channel can be very important in introducing new products in the market. Hence marketers can always reach their customers any time of the day. However, it is important for the marketers to avoid being a bother to the clients as they may lead to the business suffering a reputation crisis.

Mobile marketing also helps to build a good relationship between the customer and the service provider. This is because customers can be able to give a feedback about the product and this helps the service provider to know the different customers taste and preferences. At the same time, this information can be used to improve on the product and service in order to enhance the customer satisfaction.

Unlike other method of marketing, using mobile marketing helps the business to save on time that could have being used to reach all their customers. This is because mobile phones provide a very timely avenue for communication than any other channel available in the world of business today. It only takes a very short time to send a message to a customer unlike other forms of communication where the message takes a lot of time to reach the target customers. Hence, mobile marketing enhances communication and saves time that can be used to perform other business activities.

Some of the devices on the phones such as Bluetooth help marketers to pass information only to the relevant group of people. This gadget helps to determine the locality of an individual, for example, a marketer who wants to advertise a certain shopping mall can easily search for mobile phone that are around the location of the mall before sending the message. This ensures that the message reaches only the targeted audience and this in turn increase the effectiveness of this marketing tool.

This channel is also very reliable if utilised well. This can be achieved if the business advertises their products at the right time and location. This too helps to save on resources and time that could be wasted on other channels that are not very effective in marketing. Using mobile marketing is the best tools of marketing in the world today.

Make Yours the Site To Visit

Many businesses have discovered an important marketing fact: customers visit their stores and places of business for reasons that often have nothing to do with the product being sold. Young mothers take their babies on morning strolls at the local shopping mall. Students visit bookstores for the coffee and Internet portal. Homeowners visit the websites for their local home supply stores in order to find out how to complete a home project. These people often come and go, having purchased nothing from the associated store. For this reason, some short-sighted business owners discourage these potential customers from visiting if they are not buying. Savvy business owners understand that one of the first rules of business is to get them to their stores, and to get them there first. When a young mother wants to go shopping, she will tend to go where she is comfortable: her favorite shopping mall. When a student wants to buy a book, they are for sale only yards away from his favorite coffee shop. When a homeowner needs a part for his latest home project, well, he is already at the website getting information. Getting customers to your store or website is an important and powerful marketing tool. Businesses that depend on their website for marketing understand that a great way to get content for their website that brings customers can come from professional article writing websites.

Businesses contact article writing websites to get the kind of content they need to make the customer glad that they visited their website, for whatever reason. Even websites that depend on an Internet search engine to provide the initial visit depend on customer-pleasing content to keep them at the website and to induce them to return.

Professional Internet content creators fulfill the two-fold purpose of website content: to bring customers to the website by identifying it prominently in major search engines, and to have the customer return directly, without passing through a search engine. Professional content writers are trained to write articles that perform both of these functions simultaneously in an effective manner.

Compelling articles from article writing websites help induce a customer to make a purchase on his initial visit. They convince him that he is in the right place, buying the right product. It does him a favor by giving him information that gives him goodwill toward the owner, and makes him happy to make a purchase. For commodity items that are purchased often, the customer comes to view the website as a friendly place that gives him the information he wants, and he marks the site in his browser for future visits. In these ways, powerful content makes for powerful advertising.

Paid Traffic - Some Excellent Sources

Here we will go through some paid traffic sources. Paid traffic is probably a bit better than free traffic as it happens straight away.

Pay Per Click - This is probably the most commonly used form of paid advertising. Basically you sign with a network like Google AdWords and set up ads to run on their search engine, targeted to your niche. When a person searches for a certain term, they then come across your ad and click through to your website. This is an excellent way of advertising, but can become quite costly in a short amount of time. But you can set a certain budget so it won't cost what you can't afford.

Pay Per View - This is also a great form of advertising. Same thing as AdWords but what actually happens is when a person searches a certain term, your website will be displayed in front of them. This is in front of people who opt - in to receive these type of offers. As the title suggests you pay for the views you get. Generally in bunches of one thousand views.

Media Buying - Also known as banner advertising can be a great way of advertising with correct research. Basically what this entails is paying a website owner to put a banner on their website for a certain amount of time, usually one month. This can sometimes be rather hard to set up because you generally have to try and contact the website owners via email, which is rather time consuming. When you find a great website to advertise on, do your research and see what type of offer would suit there particular audience. On certain websites this can be a very high price. Remember though, with media buying you get what you pay for.

Cpa Or Cost Per Action - This is the advertiser side of cpa. Basically you can set up with a cpa network to get to get affiliates to drive traffic to your site for a fee. You can pay by the click, action or sale. An action is the most popular. This basically means you get the customer to sign up to your list for a fee to the affiliate.

Wso - Also known as a warrior special offer. This is a very high traffic forum with a section where you can pay to put up a post. This costs you forty dollars and has 3000 members viewing it at any one time. Definitely a worthy investment.

So there you have it. Some great resources for paid traffic. Put a few of these into effect and you will start seeing some amazing results.

Why Submit Only to Specialized Web Directories?

This is a very strong statement to say submit only to specialized web directories, but there are firm reasons for it. You may wonder why there are still lots of directory submission services out there and people use them. The answer is simply lack of knowledge one side and the power of advertising on the other side.

How Directory Submission Services Work

IF they really do what they say, they submit your website listings to various web directories that are very similar to one another. They are either all created by themselves on different servers or they use them paying very little fees. Those sites lack lots of features a powerful web directory needs to have.

They tell you they send you reports about their performance. You receive them periodically with a list of the sites your listings have been submitted to. When you check out some of those sites to find and locate your site there, you don't see them there, specially on the ones with high rankings. You contact the service provider and ask for the reason, but you never receive an answer or a reasonably convincing one.

Is It Worth to Try Another Similar Service?

The answer is negative, because they are basically offering the same service or conducting it the same way. What are the results? A series, if plenty, of similar links from low-rank sites with no or little relevant content are published at the same time.

Search engines will notice this and give it almost no credit and no particular boost will be felt at your site. Alexa.com will not take those links into account either. Your target audience will not go to those weak websites to search for anything. No other benefits will be gained from submission to such web directories either.

So What is the solution? How can one tap into the power of these websites?

Submit Only to Specialized Web Directories

Having your site listed in only one powerful directory that is focused on one particular niche with lots of relevant content that offers fantastic features is a lot more worth than paying to all those useless services combined. The reason is that you see the results and the boost is felt.

Now the question is how to find one such powerful platform for submitting your website listings to. The answer begins by searching for them at search engines. If you find a specialized web directory on the first one or two result pages of Google, they may have the features you are looking for.

Then, select the one that offers you the most exposure on the web. See if any of them allows you to submit articles or news in your niche for free or for a fee. See if any of them allows you to post more than a link to your homepage. See if any of them allows you to introduce links to your social media accounts as well as your own sites. See if you can upload some images to further illustrate what you are offering at your online business. See if any of them allows you to embed a video at your listing.

This way, you can continue to see and compare the features in each of those specialized web directories until you are convinced that one of them is the most useful one for your business. It may take some time, but hopefully will return the results that you are looking for.

One Powerful Presence Is Better than 100 Useless Ones

You may be tempted to have your links posted on a huge number of sites. It is not only you who loves to see this. There is nothing wrong with this idea either, but make sure all those sites are authoritative ones that give your site a lot of life-changing power. There is no doubt that no web directory submission is capable of accomplishing such a service for you and if they do, the service will be way too higher than you may imagine.

So, the best you can do is to find one influential popular directory that gives you most advantages possible and only spend your time on it. The more you use your resources on enhancing your listings there, the better results you will achieve either directly from that site or indirectly from search engines. Then, it will be worth doing it.

Let us not forget that even specialized web directory submission is one part of the entire image of online marketing. You have to tap into the power of social media, press releases, blogging, etc as well.
